Autumn Houston Hair Extensions uses the Cylinder or Loc method. There is no gluing, heat, sewing, or taping. I thread your natural hair through the copper loc. The Hair Extension is inserted into the loc, and securely closed. The method is completely safe. There is no tension, stretching, or chemicals used for the application or removal process.

You will need to have an Extensions Maintenance every 2-3 months. This is because, as your natural hair grows out, so do the extensions. During your maintenance, I will remove your extensions and brush out your natural hair thoroughly. I remove the extensions by placing the closed, flattened loc into a tool that opens it and the extension easily slips out. Then I will reinstall your extensions.
Your biggest investment when getting hair extensions is the hair. The hair is re-useable with regular maintenances. The life of the hair depends on how you care for it. The hair I use will last 1 year with proper care. The hair is single drawn, meaning it came from the same ponytail. Therefore, the cuticle is uniform and will not tangle.
Do not believe anyone who says the hair lasts forever. If the hair is cheap, it wont last and you will have to replace it often. With Hair Extensions you get what you pay for. If a Stylist charges $2,500 for Hair Extensions, and says the hair needs to be replaced every few months, you are being ripped off. Hair that price should last a year.
Damage is caused when a stylist misleads you that you can go more than 3 months without your Extensions Maintenance. Your hair will dread lock and tangle. You must tend to this hair regularly as with any Hair Extensions System.
The safety of your hair is my main concern. Honesty is the foundation of my work and services. The tip of your extension will be re-bonded during maintenance, so it is as good as the initial use. I do not reuse locs, you will get new ones every maintenance. Otherwise, they would become too sharp and dangerous to your natural hair.
Consultations are complimentary. I encourage clients to come into the salon and meet me. You will be able to see and feel the extensions because I wear them in my hair. We will discuss your desired look and how many extensions are needed to achieve it. There is absolutely no pressure to place an order. I want you to make an educated and comfortable decision. For your convenience, a written quote will be provided along with an ongoing maintenance estimate. If you are ready to place an order, a 50% deposit of the service total is required.
I am often called or emailed and asked how much hair extensions cost. Though I understand this is a very important question that needs to be answered, there is not one price. The cost is dependent on how many strands you need and the length you want. I use the highest quality hair on the market and Hair Extensions is my area of expertise.
